I received two of these emails today. At first I was not sure what it was so I wrote to Shannon, and then I got another one saying it was from another blogger. I looked up the group sending it and it is indeed a scam.
Apparantly they are going around to blogs and getting emails from comments left then mailing you with an offer and saying the blogger who owns the blog where you left a comment recommended you.

I am so sorry you received that email. I stopped in the middle of signing up and then went to run some errands. When I came back I found several emails asking if it was a scam. responded to all of the emails encouraging people not to click on the link and if they did to change their email password. I was more than frustrated!
