alovelymadness: Welcome. This blogs purpose is to have a place to connect with other like minded people who enjoy creating awesome items out of materials that would otherwise be discarded. Along with things that catch my eye, projects I'm working on, connecting with other creative people and just to write when I get the urge. I love to hunt for treasure. Thrift shops, yard sales, salvage outlets, estate sales and auctions are my heaven on earth. I enjoy finding great deals to bring home, keep, redo, or put in my shop...it's kind of a therapy. I was a "throw away" kid. Lots of foster homes, and a couple reform schools. Then I re-purposed myself. I found my inner spirit with the help of a special person (he's now my husband) who taught me to look at my life a different way. And things changed for the better. I have some scars from before...he calls them "battle scars" but it has all fallen into place. Thanks for stopping in. AdelaDiane
